Sirris - Innovation forward
Sirris' Cyber Security team focuses primarily on innovative cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructures and plays an important role in preventing serious disruptions. We are positioned at the forefront of digital security applications that will eventually find their way into all areas of the industry (OT-security).
As Cyber Security Engineer, you join a unique team of experts whose mission is to familiarize the Belgian technology industry with the innovative potential of digital security solutions, capitalizing on the latest trends in these technologies.
Your role:
* You provide technology advice to a diverse group of companies and inform them about the future potential of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, security- and advanced software engineering.
* You build innovative prototypes and participate in digital security oriented R&D projects.
* You stay abreast of the latest developments in digital technologies with the potential to help companies innovate.
* You share knowledge with the industry through (co)developing workshops, seminars and master classes to help the industry with the large-scale adoption of digital security technologies.
* You support colleagues when they have questions about digital security technologies and AI.
Who are you?:
* You hold a master's or PhD degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
* You enjoy diving into technical details and have hands-on experience with programming and encryption methods. Initial work experience is of interest, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
* You have a keen interest in emerging digital technologies (security, artificial intelligence, distributed intelligence) and want to develop further in those domains.
* You enjoy interacting with customers and helping them realize technology solutions.
* You like being given autonomy while being a real team player.
* Fluent in English, preferably a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
* You enjoy working in a dynamic, collaborative and international environment.
