Registration for TCC 2010

On-line registration is done via the IACR registration form. To use that form you will need your IACR reference number and password. If you do not have this information (e.g., if this is your first IACR conference), you can have the information mailed to you as explained in the registration form. You can pay on-line or by other means, following the instructions there.

Registration includes the sessions and social events of the conference, as well as a copy of the proceedings. Note that registration to TCC 2010 includes the IACR membership fee for the year 2011 (and in particular a subscription to the Journal of Cryptology). If you have already registered for FSE 2010, the registration fee will be reduced (by $88 for regular attendees, and $44 for students).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests received by January 25, 2010 are entitled to a refund less a $50 processing fee. A canceled registration does not entitle you to a copy of the proceedings. No refunds (full or partial) will be issued after January 25. No refunds will be given for portions of the registration not being used.

Financial Support

A limited number of stipends are available to students. Preference will be given to those who are presenting papers at the conference. To apply for a stipend, have your advisor or department chair send a brief justification to the General Chair by December 15, 2009. Stipend requests may also be considered from non-student authors of accepted papers unable to obtain sufficient funding.

Accommodation

We have reserved rooms in 6 different hotels close to ETH, mostly single rooms and few double rooms, at special rates. All reservations are made from Monday February 8 to Friday February 12. You have to contact the hotel directly to book your room (by mail), referencing the keyword "TCC 2010". Our reservation is valid till January 6, 2010; after this date, all rooms will be subject to availability. Of course, you can stay shorter or longer, depending on room availability. We have visited each of the hotels and are in contact with the hotel managers. If you have special needs, you may contact us. Please also drop us a short notice if you book another hotel or a hotel on the list through some hotel portal site. For your convenience, we also list a cheap backpacker hotel; we did not reserve any rooms there, please reserve through their web page.

Note that ETH is on a small hill above Zurich, whereas the city center is downhill. All hotels except Sunnehus are also downhill, so going to ETH means going up. There is a cable car going from Central to ETH (Polybahn), which costs CHF [something small]. This is very useful for guests of Hotel du Theatre, and also well-suited for guest of Hotel Adler and City Backpacker. Have a look at the Map.

Visa Information

You will need a valid passport to enter Switzerland. A Visa is not required for citizen of most nationalities (in particular EU, the U.S.A, and Canada). For more information see here.
